Vending this year involves a few changes due to space restrictions and conditions at our wonderful venue, The Shedd. We have eight 4 foot spaces available for each night, Friday May 3rd: Ready to Wear, and Saturday May 4th: Avant Garde/Evening wear. The vending space is located in the main entry of the Shedd, where the will-call and food vending is located, so it will be very well trafficked. The tables and chairs, as well as tablecloths, are provided. The area is well lit, but there is electricity available if necessary.

The fee this year is $25. In addition to this, the Shedd charges 15% of sales in their space. The Shedd requires vendors to provide a full inventory list at set up, which will then be cross-referenced at breakdown to determine total sales for the evening. All final vendors will be required to provide this and we suggest you adjust your product pricing to cover this fee. Because of the restriction of space, EFW may need to jury vending applicants in order to ensure a diversity of goods if there are more than 8 applications submitted for each night (we don’t want 8 tables of the same type of wares; this would both be detrimental to sales and not accurately representative of what our community offers in terms of locally made apparel). We are sorry if this results in exclusion of designers from our event this year, we are doing our best to provide the most exposure of designers to the community in selecting our venue space, but have many factors to consider.

Vendor Requirements:

Vendors must submit a complete application through eugenefashionweek.com by April 12th. Once this deadline has passed we will decide on, if necessary, which vendors will be finalized for that evening. This determination will consider who submitted an application first, and what type of wares are being sold (we request that the wares offered by vendors be in the theme of the show, so ready to wear goods on Friday, and Avant Garde/Fancy wares Saturday). We will contact these final vendors by April 15th at which time you would pay the $25 fee on line through paypal. If the fee is not submitted by April 19th, we may offer the spot to another vendor on our waiting list.

Vendors will set up at 5pm with displays, their goods and an accurate and complete inventory list of all wares for sale that evening. Doors open for will-call at 6:30, so vendors must be fully set up by then. Vendors are also responsible for providing their own person/s to man the booth. The Vending space is not connected to the hall where the fashion show is taking place, so this person will not see the show while manning the booth. If they want to watch, we suggest you find 2 people that can split the shift at the intermission. Eugene Fashion Week and the Shedd are not responsible for stolen, lost or broken wares. Vendors will need to have change and any credit card sale capabilities’ they require, we suggest the square (but keep in mind that the Shedd will expect 15% payment in cash or check form that evening after close). We suggest that vendors mark items off the inventory list as they sell in order to make it easier for the Shedd to take an accurate inventory after the show. We request you do not break down until the majority of the customers have left and the Shedd has completed a final inventory of your wares, possibly 10 or 11 pm.

Thank you for your participation!
